What TO Expect

Sundays

Bible Study: 9:30 am – 10:45 am

Worship: 11:00 am – 12:15 pm

  • What to Wear

Please wear whatever makes you comfortable and prepares you for worshiping the Lord.  Depending on the season, you'll likely see people in our congregation wearing suits and ties, t-shirts and jeans, and everything in between.

  • What to Bring

Bring yourself and a heart for growing in the Lord.  You are welcome to bring a Bible if you'd like.  Having one available during Bible Study class might be helpful, though many of us just use a tablet or smartphone to access Scripture.  During worship, the Bible passages are read aloud and projected on a screen, so you should not necessarily need one then either.

  • Where to Go

We are located at 200 Longbranch Road in Midlothian, Texas.  We hold our Sunday worship service in the multipurpose building, which is the larger building to the south (right hand side, if you're facing it) of the adult building with the steeple.  If you arrive in time for Bible Study, someone will be available to direct you toward a class to visit.

  • What you'll Sing

Our worship team offers an inspiring blend of contemporary and traditional worship music focused on leading the heart of our congregation in a spirit of worship and praise.  The lyrics are also projected on a screen, so you won't have to flip through a hymnal book.

  • What You'll Hear

Expect to hear a message that is both based on Scripture and relevant.  God did not give us His Word simply for us to know information for its own sake.  He intended it to impact us and affect the way we live.  Our teaching and preaching is grounded in the Bible and focused on transforming us into the image of Christ, our perfect example.  We typically conclude each worship service with an invitation and opportunity to respond to the message or anything else that God might be calling you toward.
